| Um poema e umha planta para o Presidente |
|
Neste dia de dezembro, ás 12 menos um quarto, acheguei-me ao edifício da Xunta em Sam Caetano com umha planta e um poema para o Presidente. E entreguei-nos em Presidéncia. Este é o poema:
Senhor Presidente:
Pola presente aqui
lhe envio umha planta e mais um poema.
O poema é breve,
a planta, originária do Brasil.
Dieffenbachia é o seu nome,
aínda que a gente lhe chama
Comigo-Ninguém-Pode.
Vem do Amaçonas
e chegou a Europa como planta decorativa
de interior,
pola sua toleráncia ás sombras
e a sua cor sempre viva.
Senhor Presidente,
debe saber, porém,
que a planta é tóxica,
que as células do caule e das folhas
contenhem oxalato de cálcio
em cristais aciculares
que se afectam a gorja
podem provocar mudez,
nos casos graves.
Por isso se chama em inglés
Dumbcain
ou Cana do mudo.
Tem muito poder.
E isto nom o estou a inventar,
nom é lenda nem mitologia,
merquei-na por tres euros,
numha floristaria.
Debe saber tamém
que nos Estados Unidos
foi utilizada para punir os escravos:
enchiam-lhes a boca de folhas.
Muitos homes e mulheres ficarom
para sempre calados.
Esta planta deixou sem palavras
milheiros de persoas
que perderom para sempre a fala.
Por isso quixem eu
enviar-lhe esta planta,
Senhor Presidente,
recordou-me a sua forma de ser.
E agora vai a despedida,
mas devo dicer-lhe antes
que creo na justiça poética,
que a água nunca debe estar fria
e o rego há de ser abundante.
Um saúdo desde
a raíz dum toxo verde.

eu nunca serei yo... pero me autoodio por mi pasado castellanohablante, que jamás podrté borrar. "Eu fun Yo" durante la infancia, la patria del hombre según Rilke.
