Forom aparecendo pouco a pouco nos telhados da minha vila e agora podo contar 23 desde a janela do meu cuarto: mouchos, avelaionas e curuxas de louça. 23 mouchos de porcelana com a olhada opaca.
Erguem-se inmóveis entre as antenas, sobre as telhas e as cheminés, com os seus olhos grandes cheios de siléncio.
Pugerom-nos para as pombas e as gaivotas fugirem deles, para manter limpas de excrementos as terraças, os carros, as janelas, a roupa tendida e, em fim, a vida.
Os 23 mouchos de porcelana de olhada opaca no teso dos telhados vigiam a vila desde o alto e lograrom asombrar os paxaros vivos.
Numha casa baixa, -minha mai dixo-me que ali vivia um professor de biologia-, o moucho é de louça de Sargadelos.

Hoje estava a olhar os mouchos desde a janela quando sucedeu algo asombroso e irreal, no lusco-fusco: Um dos mouchos dum telhado á minha esquerda de súbito moveu-se e, numha pulsaçom rápida e violenta, caçou umha pomba branca.
Com a pomba nas poutas ergueu-se e, a voar silencioso e com a sua olhada brilhante, desapareceu cara á montanha.
Manhá talvez regrese.
