| A tatuagem de meu pai |
|
Quando meu pai nasceu a sua madrinha dixo: De maior hei mercar-lhe um acordeom, este neno vai ser artista.
Passarom os anos, algo mais de dez, e um dia aquel meninho decidiu ir á casa da madrinha e dixo-lhe Nom quero ser músico, quero ser pintor. Pode dar-me os cartos para mercar cores?
E com os cartos que lhe deu subiu ao trem e marchou á cidade el só e mercou alguns tubos de óleo e pincéis e voltou á casa. Eram os anos sesenta e abriu um tubo e uliu as cores e a cor verde ulia mui bem.
Quando chegou á casa pediu-lhe á mae umha saba velha e ali pincelou o seu primeiro cadro.
Mamá, tes outra saba? Nom, nom havia mais sabas velhas. Eram os anos sesenta e havia pouco de todo e o meninho procurou e puxo-se a pintar nos azulejos brancos do banho retratos de actores de Hollywood.
Aos quince ou dezaseis começou a trabalhar numha fábrica de coiro e gostava de mesturar os tintes e criar cores novas para tingir as peles e num caderno reuniu umha coleçom de pedaços de coiro de muitas cores. Uns anos depois emigrou á Franza, Paris.
Trabalhou duro numha cadeia de montagem, numha fábrica de borrachas para peças de avions. Mas o dia livre achegava-se à Praça du Tertre olhar como pintavam os pintores nos tempos de Brasens e Moustaki. E em Orsay botou horas diante das cores de Van Gogh.
Em Paris olhou um home tirar-se dumha ponte abaixo. Tinha um amigo pintor polaco. Umha noite sacarom-lhe umha navalha. E aló com os aforros mercou umha caixa portátil de pinturas e fixo umha tatuagem no braço direito, umha paleta com dous pinceis e quatro cores.
E ao pouco regressou, e nas fotografías que trouxo sempre sorri e nas fotografías já estava a tatuagem no braço.
E logo casou e começou a trabalhar numha oficina, com garavata, com outra gente com garavata, e tivo filhos e continuou a trabalhar numha oficina e logo noutra e noutra e noutra com muita gente de garavata e só mui de quando em vez quando nom tinha números entre as maos nem diante dos olhos, podía apanhar um pincel e pintar, mui de quando em vez, as cores.
Fora da casa nom ponhia camisas de manga curta por esconder a sua tatuagem. Nom gostava de dar explicaçons sobre as suas emoçons. As cores levava-as por dentro. E foi passando o tempo.
E passarom os anos. E mais anos. E um dia jubilou-se e foi enchendo a casa com o olor do óleo e o aguarrás, e foi enchendo as paredes da casa com prados e praias e portos e casas e rios e muitas outras cousas e emoçons do país no que vivía? E um dia voltou visitar Paris, com a camisa remangada.
Mas um dia enfermou e outro começou a lhe tremar o pulso. E foi deixando de pintar pouco a pouco até que um dia já nom puido caminhar até as pinturas e quando se deu conta deixou de pintar de todo. Lástima, pensou. Só me faltam uns minutos para acabar esse cadro. Só uns minutos, algumhas pinceladas.
A noite antes de morrer ficou durmido para sempre e, deitado de lado, aínda tivo força para estirar a mao e com um pincel invisível puxo-se a pintar na parede, com toda a sua vida entre os dedos.
Com as suas cores.
Eu penso que acabou o cadro. E deixou de respirar.
E eu estava ali, acarinhando a sua tatuagem. |
