Onte PROLINGUA Vilagarcía presentou o libro 55 mentiras sobre o galego, fíxoo á vez que en Cambados, Caldas de Reis ou no Grove e que outras 70 localidades de Galicia ou terras de lingua galega como O Bierzo ou San Martiño de Trebello (Cáceres) pero tamén do mundo ( Barcelona, Madrid, París, Londres e un longo etc...)
Os vilagarciáns alí presentes sabíanse partícipes dunha actividade histórica e respostaron coa mesma contundencia que días antes o fixeron os ensinantes, alumn@s e pais/nais cunha folga no Ensino contra as bases do Decreto do Plurilingüísmo da Xunta do PP.
Foi un acto que evidenciaba que o galego une a xentes de diversas idades, nen@s, adolescentes ou xubilados, persoas de ideoloxías diferentes, pero que sentimos o galego como un sinal da nosa identidade que non queremos perder e estamos dispostos a defendelo sen acritude, pero con firmeza; esa diversidade e á vez esa unánime defensa do noso idioma era algo que os organizadores desexaban que evento transmitise, máis alá de centrar as mensaxes no combate ás falacias que sobre o galego circulan.
A presentación correu a cargo de Cruz López, Héctor Silveiro, Xan Guíllén e Carlos Blanco. despois de ler un texto que PROLINGUA destinaba á introdución do acto. Lembrouse logo outro importante documento catalogable de histórico que se complementa co libro que se estaba a presentar; o importante documento que veu a luz o pasado 16 de xaneiro, asinado pola Academia Galega, outra ferramenta útil e eficaz no debate que se está a dar. Pasouse axiña a comentar os contidos e apartados do libro coordinado por Henrique Costas e editado por Laiovento que aborda moitos dos tópicos e moitas falacias habituais que sobre o galego se adoitan escoitar, procurando tocar os máis diversos ámbitos onde se producen, mesmo tendo moi en conta falsedades que amplificaron os medios de comunicación de fóra de Galicia recentemente.
Interviñeron no acto 7 "mentireiros" en dúas tandas. Na primeira falaron a escritora vilagarciá, Susana Sánchez Aríns, Vítor, un mariscador a flote da Illa, residente en Vilagarcía e Xaquín Chaves, o artista plástico. Na segunda dirixíronse a unha sala abarrotada Ramón Díaz "Raio", empresario emerxente e deseñador das camisolas Caramuxo, Pedro Montero investigador oceánográfico, Andrés o propietario da cafetería A Mariña e finalmente Serxio González xornalista do que podemos ler unha crónica que hoxe publica na Voz de Galicia. Nesta crónica non se citan algunhas das anécdotas curiosas que el mesmo utilizou na súa alocución cargada de ironías como a de que o galego conta cunha nova palabra, estraña simbiose do xaponés co galego, que naceu nunha viaxe ao Xapón (aló polos anos 90)na que certo emisario do goberno Fraga empregou por vez primeira a expresión "agaratiño".
Houbo ademais dúas intervencións moi especiais. A de Xabier Marqués, recoñecido director de curtas. Presentou para esta ocasión unha titulada "Boca a boca" que en formato de documental entrevista e con moito humor confeccionou coa colaboración de moitos espontáneos que foron os que responderon a unha serie de cuestións, máis ben despropósitos, hipotéticos que se poderían dar atentando contra sinais de identidade da nosa cultura: a bandeira, o himno, o pórtico da Gloria ou mesmo o galego.
O remate do acto correspondeulle ao grupo Borderline 79, un grupo de mozos que traballaron arreo para poñer esta nota musical. Xa ao comezo interpretaron o tema Lela, un texto de Castelao seguindo os arranxos realizados por Dulce Pontes,
e escolleron para o final unha versión do coñecido tema Miña terra galega coreada e acompañada de aplausos pola totalidade dos asistentes e deixando o estreo dunha nova versión musical feita polo grupo para a ocasión do poema de Celso Emilio "Deitado fronte ao mar" de novo moi aplaudida pola emotiva interpretación que fixeron. O numeroso público, unhas 250 persoas, estivo en todo momento moi atento e agradeceu a fluidez do acto, que a pesar da cantidade de elementos que o conformaron resulto áxil e moi ameno.
Finalmente os 55 libros que se puxeron á venda, esgotáronse en cuestión de minutos. Menos mal que as librarías de Vilagarcía teñen xa nos seus escaparates exemplares abondo!
