Acuática alma é un poemario de madurez, sobrio na forma e contido no fondo, un chamamento á autenticidade que non esquece o diálogo cos mitos pero tampouco coa memoria dos cadavres das cunetas, que non renuncia á reflexión metaliteraria mais tampouco elude a cotidianeidade.” <br />

“Marta Dacosta homenaxea en Acuática Alma, a forza das mulleres, “a súa capacidade para superar a dor”, apunta ela mesma. E chama por todas as Ofelias —como xa o facía n’As amantes de Hamlet—, para instalas a ser libres, a rebelarse contra o sometemento. Porque a violencia de xénero é unha das inxustizas contra as que Acuática Alma ergue a palabra. Como o fai contra o descoñecemento, a frustración ante a construción de imaxes deformadoras sobre as persoas. Ou contra a desmemoria, a mentira, pois “a historia”, lembra, “escríbena os vencedores”. Di Olga Novo que “a poesía é pobre, pero fala coa voz rica dos que non teñen nada”. Dacosta reivindica tamén, da man de Benedetti ou de Mahmud Darwish, a poesía como palabra dos vencidos, do pobo.<br />
Reflexiona, por outra banda, en Acuática Alma, sobre o papel da poeta nun contexto de palabras luxadas —como as que sustentan, di, as agresións á lingua— e falta de tempo para “as cuestións que son fundamentais”. Mais, contra a “triste indeferenza ante a derrota” que xa denunciaba en Pel de ameixa, convida a “coller folgos”. “A non deixarnos vencer, seguir loitando para ser, para non desaparecer como pobo”, engade. Acuática Alma parte dun poema sobre un ser que nace da auga, elemento de construción e destrución da vida. A imaxe da auga, como a do sangue, atópase na súa obra desde o seu primeiro libro, Crear o mar a Compostela.”<br />

   <title>A identidade en Coetzee</title>
   <description><![CDATA[Baseándome na lectura de Verán, de <a href=http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._M._Coetzee target=_blank class=tEnlac>Coetzee</a>, escribía o <a href=http://www.terraetempo.com/artigo.php?artigo=2214&seccion=4 target=_blank class=tEnlac>artigo do mes pasado</a>. Mais quedaba aínda outro tema da novela que me interesou particularmente e que agora deixo aquí:<br />
<br />
<b>A identidade.</b><br />
<br />
Antes mesmo de reparar na idea central de que no estudo dun escritor a materia prima esencial e case exclusivamente necesaria é a obra (o cal non quere dicir que esa obra non se analice á luz do momento no que foi escrita, ben ao contrario, porque como todo é produto do tempo histórico e vital que lle tocou vivir ao seu autor), chamoume a atención o seu modo de se sentir sudafricano.<br />
<br />
Ao longo do libro imos percibindo o que quedará definitivamente claro na entrevista da personaxe de Martin, a penúltima, a que nos achega definitivamente ao escritor. Coetzee é un sudafricano branco e iso é fundamental para entender a súa relación coa terra que o viu nacer e todo o que desta consciencia identitaria se deriva. Resúmeo así a través das palabras de Martin:<br />
<br />
“<i>a nosa presencia naquel territorio era legal mais ilexítima ... Considerabámonos transeúntes, residentes temporais, e nese sentido sen fogar, sen patria</i>”<br />
<br />
Eu aínda non lera unha definición tan consciente do colonizador. A persoa sábese invasora do lugar ao que pertence. Naceu alí, mais non debera ter nacido, pertence a un pobo que ocupou pola forza o país do que agora é cidadán. E non ten outra patria. <br />
<br />
É se cadra esta consciencia identitaria o que crea o absurdo ao que o propio autor recorre para construír a novela. Coetzee, pai e fillo, son como Vladimir e Estragón agardando a Godot, só se teñen o un ao outro, detéstanse e necesítanse, desexarían estar afastados o un do outro, mais non poden separase nin sequera un metro. Sempre agardando polo que non chega, un sentimento de pertenza non invasora a un espazo, a un fogar. E esa é tamén a relación co país, con Sudáfrica, o desexo de irse (na novela moitos sudafricanos brancos están a agardar para irse vivir aos EEUU), e o magnetismo que Sudáfrica exerce sobre eles.<br />
<br />
“<i>Os seus devanceiros, á súa maneira, e os meus á súa, traballaran duramente, unha xeración tras outra, a fin de despexar unha extensión da África salvaxe para os seus descendentes, e cal era o froito dos seus esforzos? A dúbida no corazón daqueles descendentes sobre o seu dereito á terra; unha inquietante sensación de que non lles pertencía a eles senón, dunha maneira inalienábel, aos seus donos orixinais.</i>”<br />
<br />
Foi a outra visión de Sudáfrica, ben diferente da que percibín a través da novela doutra sudafricana, <a href=http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nadine_Gordimer target=_blank class=tEnlac>Nadine Gordimer</a>.<br />

   <title>balea2 de Estevo Creus</title>
   <description><![CDATA[Eu ía durmir, mais no último momento abrín o libro de Estevo Creus, <a href=http://crebas.blogaliza.org/2011/11/29/poemas-xx-%C2%ABe-enton-e-enton%C2%BB-do-libro-balea2-de-estevo-creus/ target=_blank class=tEnlac>balea 2</a>, e quedei enganchada, até chegar á metade do libro. Lía un poema e, como me gustaba e me tiraba un sorriso, líao en voz alta, para compartilo.<br />
<br />
Ía durmir, mais quedei en<br />
<br />
<b>a divina tortura<br />
adiviña tortura para pais en uso ou á que me sometía o meu irmán David antes de durmir</b><br />
<br />
<i>non é un coche e tampouco é unha balea<br />
¿Qué é?</i><br />
<br />
En canto puiden seguín enganchada a esa poesía diferente, que tamén expresa o que sentimos, que non se ancora na melancolía, malia a dureza irrecoñecíbel dalgúns textos.<br />
<br />
Poemas para saborear e sorrir, para sentirse nena ou non, para saberse inocente, ou camiñar as rúas do mundo coa mesma ilusión coa que saímos calquera día, desexando vivir sen tregua.<br />
<br />
Outro libro de Estevo que non me deixa indiferente, unha esixencia que eu lle fago á poesía.<br />

   <title>Acuática alma no Diario Cultural</title>
   <description><![CDATA[Esta semana cinco poemas de <i>Acuática alma</i> estiveron no <a href=http://www.crtvg.es/rg/a-carta target=_blank class=tEnlac>Diario Cultural da Radio Galega</a>.<br />
<br />
Este foi o programa do luns día 23, no que o poema “non foi suficiente” pecha o programa. Ao longo da semana outros poemas estiveron na páxina de poesía do programa.<br />

   <title>Os feitos falan por nós</title>
   <description><![CDATA[Semanas atrás remataba de ler Verán, a novela autobiográfica de Coetzee. Hoxe vénme á cabeza, como me vén a cita do Evanxeo de Mateo transformada polos anos e o uso: polas súas obras coñecerédelos.<br />
<br />
E é que ás veces os discursos, as declaracións ou a información nos medios de comunicación acaban por confundir. Como na novela do sudafricano as persoas ou os medios que se pronuncian e opinan teñen intereses para trasladar determinado tipo de xuízos.<br />
<br />
Na súa novela, Coetzee crea un investigador que vai entrevistando a diferentes persoas para coñecer o autor de quen pretende escribir unha biografía, el mesmo. Deste xeito relata a forma en que os demais o descoñeceron, deixándonos a pensar en que é así como se constrúe a imaxe da persoa: un crebacabezas que nunca se completa e no que as imaxes están distorsionadas. Nunca nos ven completamente, porque só reparan naquilo que máis lles interesa.<br />
<br />
O biógrafo entrevista sucesivamente: unha amante, que verte sobre Coetzee  toda o resentimento dunha vida anódina e sen futuro; un colega co que competiu por un posto na universidade que é o único que entende e comparte a súa posición ideolóxica sobre a colonización bóer en Sudáfrica ou a colega e amante que se sitúa equidistante valorando por un lado as virtudes do docente e por outro os defectos do amante. Son brochazos parciais cos que malamente compoñemos a vida do escritor. Visións fragmentarias e incompletas que sobre todo demostran un certo desprezo por Coetzee. En calquera caso, retratos indirectos tamén de quen opina.<br />
<br />
O debate sobre o coñecemento da identidade de alguén forma parte do propio desenvolvemento da novela e unha das personaxes acaba por interrogar o investigador: "Repítolle que se me fai raro que escriba a biografía dun escritor deixando de lado a súa obra." E velaquí a cerna da cuestión: podemos coñecer alguén só polo que del nos contan?, Como dicía esta mesma personaxe: "E as persoas que elixiu non teñen intereses persoais nin ambicións propias para pronunciar un xuízo definitivo ...?"<br />
<br />
Extrapolando a reflexión, podemos quedarnos simplemente co perfil que constrúen os medios de comunicación dunha persoa ou dun colectivo? Son os comentarios que proliferan na rede elementos a termos en conta á hora de formarnos unha opinión sobre un feito concreto? O certo é que, como na novela do sudafricano, a través dos medios de comunicación e das redes sociais vaise creando un determinado clima, un contexto que acaba por intervir nos acontecementos, influíndo nas reflexións de quen ten que decidir.<br />
<br />
Como na cita dos Evanxeos, hai uns noventa anos, escribíalle Victoriano Taibo a Manuel Antonio, "Que nos coñezan polas obras."<br />
<br />
Son os feitos os que falan por nós, os que decididamente nos retratan, ante eles non caben interpretacións, son a realidade.<br />

   <description><![CDATA[<b>A sombra que nunca se domina</b><br />
<br />
cando esperto á mañá<br />
ou cando agardo ao sono<br />
xa lendo, xa en silencio<br />
no medio do balbordo<br />
o medo impón a sombra<br />
que tan longa se estende<br />
sen que o sol me permita<br />
achar a súa medida<br />
deseñar o artificio<br />
que poida superala<br />

como a vella da praza<br />
cos pratos da balanza<br />
poño e retiro pesas<br />
sen que o fiel se deteña<br />
<br />
así que sen sosego<br />
bato na anca erguida<br />
para chegar á luz<br />

só a egua desbocada<br />
que habita no faiado<br />
pode saltar a sombra<br />
que nunca se domina<br />

   <title>Recensión espontánea de Acuática alma</title>
   <description><![CDATA[Esta mañá entrei nun local, Cristina estaba traballando, mais aproveitou para dicirme que lle gustaba o libro (<i>Acuática alma</i>). Eu non lle preguntara nada. Só cando me dixo que lle gustaba pregunteille se xa o lera e díxome que non, que o estaba gozando aos poucos. Eu engadín, para iso foi escrito.<br />

Si, para iso foi escrito, para ser lido e gozado, se for posíbel, polas lectoras e os lectores.<br />
<br />
Naturalmente quedei moi satisfeita, tanto como se estivese a ler unha boa recensión literaria que destacase os logros rítmicos, léxicos, temáticos, o que se entender oportuno, da obra. Por iso queda aquí, como anotación que dea conta dunha recensión crítica da obra.<br />
<br />
Porque é especialmente satisfactorio que alguén que non é profe ou que non ten un traballo vinculado ao ámbito cultural… en fin, unha cidadá, diga que está a gustar do teu libro, ou sexa que diga, por tanto, que está a gustar da poesía.<br />
